Authority and a Surrendered Heart

As Jesus is arrested, He is not powerless or overtaken—He remains fully in authority, even while willingly surrendering to the Father's plan and protecting the disciples entrusted to Him. From there, this reflection follows the contrast between Judas and the other disciples: being close to Jesus is not the same as surrendering to Him, leaving us with the question of who or what truly has our heart.
