I'm a wife, mom, reader, question-asker, pattern-chaser, and most importantly, a woman who loves Jesus and His Word. I tend to follow the glittery threads an idea presents, notice connections, linger over things that make me wonder, and occasionally take much longer to get through a book of the Bible than I ever planned.
Over the years, God has taught me that some of the sweetest places with Him are found when we slow down long enough to notice what He is showing us.
I have been transformed by Jesus from the inside out, much like a monarch butterfly. Who I once was is gone, and I’m still learning what it looks like to live the abundant life Jesus came to give us.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. — 2 Corinthians 5:17
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly. — John 10:10
I don’t have all the answers, and I don’t expect to. But I trust God to keep teaching me as I spend time with Him. I simply love opening God’s Word, following the threads that make me pause, and inviting others to come wander with me.
