AI is part of the structure behind Wandering Through God's Word with Wonder, but it is not where my reflections begin.
My reflections begin with Scripture and the Holy Spirit. I read, pray, notice, question, cross-reference, wrestle, and record. Most of the time, but not always, I do all of this before I even move to AI. I never give AI a passage and ask it to tell me what my reflection should be.
I use AI much like I would use a research assistant. I may ask whether Scripture supports something I've said, whether I'm treating an inference as fact, where else in Scripture I can learn more, or what historical context I might be missing. AI is not the only resource I use. Study Bibles, commentaries, historical resources, and the work of biblical scholars also help me understand the world and context of Scripture. As I study, I move back and forth between Scripture, those resources, and AI as questions lead to more questions.
I also use AI for help with editing like I would use an editor, spellcheck, and/or that favorite grammar czar. The words are mine, but I use AI to help me clean them up. (If you haven't realized this about me yet, I like to use a lot of words!)
AI can be wrong, so it isn't an authority. What matters gets checked against Scripture, commentaries, historical resources, and reliable sources.

AI also acts as something of a secretary for Wandering. It helps with transcripts, titles and descriptions, organization, social media preparation, website work, and code. It carries most of the administrative and production work so I can spend more of my time where I want it: in God's Word.
I also use AI-generated images and illustrations throughout Wandering. Sometimes AI is simply helping me turn something I have already created into a visual. Other times, especially with study resources, AI may help with the research and development of the content itself. I review, question, and verify that information using Scripture and other sources before deciding what belongs in the finished resource. AI then helps me turn that work into the illustrations and resources you see.
The boundary that matters to me is simple: AI can support my study of Scripture. It cannot replace it.
And yes, AI helped me draft this page.
That seemed appropriate.
